CPL-H Commercial Pilot Licence



The CPL-H is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to become a professional helicopter pilot. As the holder of such a licence you are entitled to fly for remuneration either in a company or as a freelance pilot.

  • The applicant has to be 18 years old.
  • The applicant has to apply for a class 1 medical certificate (EASA).
  • The applicant has to pass a mathematical assessment test.

Holders of a PPL or other aeronautical licences may benefit from an adapted curriculum.

Theoretical Program

350 Hours

The EASA theoretical knowledge training will be conducted at our flight schools in France and/or Luxembourg (ATO.FR.0296 and ATO.LU.0004)

It is comprised of an e-learning (190 hours) as well as an in-classroom teaching part (160 hours minimum) including exercises, assessments and white-tests.

Pratical Program

135 hours

Flight Training is conducted on Robinson R44

Bases are Luxembourg-Findel (ELLX) and Reims Prunay (LFQA)
