Admission Requirements for the Training
Prerequisites for the CPL(H) Training
This training is open to both European and international students.
If you already hold a different aviation license, you may benefit from an adapted program for your CPL(H) training. PPL(H) holders can be admitted to the integrated CPL(H) training, which can reduce the duration and cost of training.
Return on Investment
The above graph illustrates the journey of an aspiring pilot, from the initial investment to the full realization of their dream through CPL(H) training.
At the beginning of the journey, the required investment for enrolling in helicopter pilot training is substantial. The future pilot will repay their investment in full within 10 years, with the assistance of CEFA’s guidance. This ease of accessing employment even before completing the training ensures that the future pilot can make monthly payments without concerns, facilitating a smooth transition to their new job.
The key aspect of this graph is the upward curve of return on investment. From the 3rd to the 7th year following entry into training, the future pilot takes on roles related to flight preparation. This allows them to apply acquired skills in practice while becoming more familiar with the pilot environment. You’ll be able to live comfortably while repaying your investment during this period.
At the 7th year, the much-awaited moment arrives: You are ready to take control of your career and fly as a professional pilot in your chosen sector. It is at this stage that the initial investment is fully justified. The pilot then lives their dream life, capable of flying independently with the confidence and expertise gained during these formative years.
This is how your initial investment transforms into a long-term dream career.
