The CEFA method combines over 30 years’ experience in helicopter piloting. Our strength lies in our individualised methodology, so that everyone can develop their skills at their own pace.
Prerequisites
Be at least 16 years old before the first solo flight;
Be at least 17 years old before the skill test;
Successfully pass the EASA Class 2 medical exam;
Achieve EASA.FCL.055 Level IV English language proficiency.
Theoreticalprogramme
(100 HOURS OF THEORY INSTRUCTION MINIMUM)
EASA theoretical knowledge training done at our flight school in France and/or Luxembourg (FR.ATO.0296);
80 hours of reading (e-learning/books);
20 hours of in-classroom teaching (classroom / video call);
EASA exams at the end of the theory instruction.
We have implemented an adapted curriculum for ICAO or EASA PPL(H) licence holders. According to the European regulation PART-FCL-300, a holder of an ICAO or EASA PPL(H) licence can be admitted to the CPL(H) integrated training.
Practicalprogramme
(45 HOURS OF FLIGHT TRAINING MINIMUM)
Practical training is done in parallel with theoretical training;
45 hours of practical training at our flight school in France and/or Luxembourg (FR.ATO.0296);
Flight training given on Robinson R44;
EASA Skill Test at the end of practical training.
Acceleratedtraining programme
PPL(H) training available as "accelerated" programme;
Theoretical and practical instruction done simultaneously;
Training done entirely in our flight school in Reims- Prunay, France;
Duration of 8 to 10 weeks full-time.
