The CEFA method draws on more than 30 years of experience in helicopter piloting. Our strength lies in our personalised methodology, which combines face-to-face theory lessons with online support, allowing each student to develop their skills at their own pace.
Prerequisites
Hold an ICAO licence (PPL(H), CPL(H) and ATPL(H))
Have 100 hours as a pilot;
Have a valid type rating;
Possess a valid EASA medical class 2.
Conversion undertaken to obtain a PPL(H) licence
The optimal licence obtained from EASA can only be a PPL(H) as part of the conversion process.
Theoreticalprogramme
ADAPTED TRAINING COURSE
PPL(H) EASA theoretical knowledge training done at our flight school (FR.ATO.0296);
Theoretical training and EASA exams for the 010 - Air law and 040 - Human Performance and Limitations modules;
OR oral evaluation by a CEFA instructor on the 010 - Air law and 040 - Human Performance and Limitations modules.
Practicalprogramme
ADAPTED TRAINING COURSE
Adapted training course according to student's skill level determined through an evaluation flight;
PPL(H) EASA practical training done at our flight school (FR.ATO.0296);
Practical training given on Robinson R44;
EASA Skill Test at the end of practical training.
