Intro

The Private Pilot Licence is the perfect solution for anyone wishing to fulfil their dream of flying a helicopter for fun.

The PPL(H) is suited for leisure flights, be it solo or with friends and family.

Additionally, it may prove useful for business affairs as it allows you to take clients and associates for an exciting ride, as well as allowing for more flexibility during business-related travel.

Due to the reduced scope, cost, and time requirements it is more attainable than a CPL(H).

Prerequisites

This training course is available to European and international students. The following prerequisites have to be met:

  • Be at least 16 years old before the first solo flight.
  • Be at least 17 years old before the skill test.
  • Successfully pass the EASA Class 2 medical exam.
  • Achieve EASA.FCL.055 Level IV English language proficiency.

If you already hold a different aeronautical licence, you may benefit from an adapted curriculum for your EASA PPL(H) training.

Accelerated PPL(H) Programme

If you are looking to become a pilot but don’t have the time to do so over a longer period or simply wish to get your licence as fast as possible, our Accelerated PPL(H) programme is the way to go.

This course is identical to the standard PPL(H) curriculum but can be done in approximately 8 to 10 weeks, full-time.

A huge advantage is the better progression of the student pilot due to the full-time nature of the accelerated course, thus lowering overall cost.
